This was me experimenting using these two programs. I am a Photoshop person, but I am interested in learning how to batch photographs in order to speed up my editing process. I will definitely continue to work with these programs because I found it very helpful for fast editing!

Photography Copyright Laws:A copyright law is the right given to the creator of their own work to protect it from being stolen or misused. With the copyright visibly displayed on the work, it shown to the viewers that the creator holds possession over the work and they do not have the rights to alter the work in any way or claim as their own work. If the art work/literacy work is purchased from the creator, even then the buyer is not in possession over the copyright, therefore the same rule applies. For a photographer, they hold all the rights to a photograph that they produced. The client has to have permission from the photographer as well as a print release form to be able to print copies of a photograph. Also, permission is needed to publicly display photographs online. If a client conducts a copyright infringement (copying photos without permission) this effects the photographer because they would be loosing money and business. Also this issue could potentially lead to a civil or criminal penalty. The blog site below gives great examples of different famous cases of copyright issues: Some Helpful Terms To Know:
Design Brief Business name: A.Baker Photography
Contact number: (252) 903-0591 Product/service/brand name: Wedding Photography, Promotional Video Key objectives: To showcase some of my best wedding works in aims to attract potential clients. Target Audience: Anyone looking to obtain a wedding photographer This promotional wedding photography video contains still images in which I have gathered from the three different weddings that I have been hired to photograph. Capturing the highlights of a wedding and representing my creative style, making sure to capture all the fine details of the special day. At the beginning of the video, my logo for my business appears; this same logo is displayed on my business card which was made in Photoshop using a clipping mask of an image that contains a rustic barn door. The reds, oranges and blues of this door appear in the “Khazana Script” font, which creates great contrast and visual interest. With this video, I wanted to create a peaceful and elegant atmosphere, making sure to not take away from the subject of the images. The Good :)These 3 examples of photography blogs are what I like the best. I like the idea of displaying multiple photographs with vibrant colors. I believe these are more modern and feminine due to the choice of using white as the back ground. Also, the idea of the logos with the symbols are very nice. I believe a good photography website should display some of the photographers best photographs to intrigue the viewer and to make them want to continue to explore their site. The Bad :(I do not like these 3 photography blogs because the layouts are odd, and they are too simplistic not very welcoming. The lack of color and blackness of these websites does not make me want to continue exploring. If only there was more happening with color and more photographs being displayed at one time I feel like the black background wouldn't be an issue. These 3 websites just seem very outdated. When I was researching what type of logos that interest me, I knew I wanted to have a logo that felt hand written/script. I was not too impressed with using my own hand writing so I spent a lot of time exploring new font choices. I ended up purchasing 5 different fonts, making sure I would get the license so that I could use it for commercial use. I came up with 4 different logos and posted on my photography Facebook page telling people to vote for their favorite out of the choices. The second logo displayed below had the most votes after a week, and ironically had been my most favorite design. The font name is called Khazana script. For both my website banner and my business card I wanted to stick to a specific theme. Using a photograph of a barn door by my house with holds sentimental value to it because this specific barn door has appear in much of my photography. On the banner of my website, I chose the color white on my font and then added a drop shadow so that it would stand out from the image and make it more readable by adding dimension.
This shows the color comparisons on the various ways of saving different file types and also to see the difference between RGB & CMYK. As you can see, the quality and color of the images change with the change of each slider.
